Vlad Shmyhlo

Vlad Shmyhlo has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Vlad started their career at AMgrade as a Front-end Developer in August 2014 and worked there until March 2015. Following that, they joined RubyGarage as a Software Engineer (Ruby, JavaScript) in March 2015 and stayed with the company until July 2017. After that, Vlad worked at XOresearch as a Deep Learning Engineer from December 2017 to December 2018. Vlad then joined Ring as a Research Engineer (Deep Learning) in February 2019 and left in September 2020. Subsequently, they worked at Revolut as a Machine Learning Engineer (Computer Vision) from September 2020 to October 2021. Currently, Vlad is employed at Cohere as a Machine Learning Engineer starting from August 2022.

Vlad Shmyhlo obtained a Master's degree in System Software from Zaporizhia State Engineering Academy from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Law from Classic Private University from 2008 to 2013.

In terms of additional certifications, Vlad obtained a series of Coursera certifications including Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Divide and Conquer, Sorting and Searching, and Randomized Algorithms, Programming Languages Part A and Part B, and Machine Learning. These certifications were obtained between 2016 and 2018.
