Cherie Brown

Cherie Brown has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Cherie most recently served as the Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Cohere Health, where they focused on streamlining the prior authorization process and improving relationships between payors, providers, and patients. Prior to that, they held the role of Director - Clinical Programs at Centene (formerly WellCare Health Plans), overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and monitoring of national care management and utilization management functions for maternal child health membership.

Before joining Centene, Cherie worked as the Sr. Director of Value Based Health Services at Signature Medical Group, where they provided strategic direction for program development within a value-based model. Cherie also served as the Sr Director of Medical Management at Home State Health, Centene Corporation, where they managed a department responsible for the care of Missouri Medicaid lives and implemented various improvement initiatives.

In previous roles, Cherie was the Vice President of Health Services at Aetna Better Health of Missouri, overseeing case management, disease management, and utilization review for Missouri Medicaid lives. Cherie also worked at Molina Healthcare of Missouri as the Director of Healthcare Services and started their career as a Case Manager at HealthCare USA.

Throughout their career, Cherie has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a commitment to improving healthcare outcomes and experiences for patients.

Cherie Brown has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marquette University. Cherie also holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from St. Louis Community College.
