Aaron Hon

Aaron Hon has extensive work experience in the technology and defense industry. Aaron is currently the Executive Vice President at Cohere Technology Group, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at L3Harris Technologies from 2017 to 2022, where they held the positions of Director and Deputy Director | Program Manager. In these roles, they oversaw teams and managed the design and development of decision support capabilities for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).

Before their time at L3Harris Technologies, Aaron worked at L-3 Communications from 2009 to 2017. Here, they served as the Deputy Program Manager | Systems Engineer, leading software systems engineering projects and overseeing IT activities.

Earlier in their career, Aaron spent time at the US Navy, National Reconnaissance Office from 2006 to 2009, where they held the role of Deputy Branch Chief. Aaron led a technical team and managed a software development portfolio.

Aaron's work experience began in 2002 at the US Navy, where they served as an EP-3E Senior Evaluator and Mission Commander. Aaron also held division officer positions in Maintenance, Tactics, and Special Projects branches.

Aaron Hon pursued their education chronologically starting from 1996 to 2000 at the United States Naval Academy, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical/Space Engineering. Additionally, during the same period, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in the same field of study. Later in 2015 to 2016, Aaron attended the McIntire Business Institute at the University of Virginia, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management of Information Technology.
