Brian Thorward

Brian Thorward is an experienced project manager currently at Coherent Technical Services, Inc. since April 2018, with prior roles including Senior Scientist Engineer at Engility Corporation (formerly L-3 Communications) from September 2004 to April 2018, and Electronics Engineer at the Department of the Navy from August 1987 to August 2004. In the role at Engility Corporation, Brian led software development for aviation control projects, notably developing GPS-based landing systems and overseeing extensive testing for reliability. At the Department of the Navy, Brian managed the entire life cycle of embedded software projects, contributing to the co-invention of the Naval Avionics Platform Integration Emulator (NAPIE) computing platform. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from Monmouth University, obtained in 1987.
