Nirmala Dhanashekar

Nirmala Dhanashekar is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in technical program and engineering management. Currently serving as Principal Technical Program Manager at Cohesity since September 2020, Nirmala previously held senior roles at Extreme Networks, managing platform product development, and at Brocade, overseeing ASIC chip design and embedded hardware development. Nirmala's earlier career includes leadership positions at Sun Microsystems India and Wipro Technologies, focusing on storage virtualization and operating systems, as well as a role as a Scientist at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, where significant inventory management improvements were achieved. Nirmala holds an Executive MBA in Product Leadership from the Institute of Product Leadership and an M.Tech in Computer Science from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore.
