Stefan Binder

Stefan Binder is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the electronics and test handler industries. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Cohu, Inc., Stefan oversees the THG (Test Handler Group) Engineering team, comprising 300 engineers across multiple countries, focusing on innovative test handler solutions. Previously, Stefan held senior roles at Xcerra Corporation, including Senior Director of Engineering and Senior Manager of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, managing teams of various sizes, primarily in Germany and Malaysia. Stefan's early career includes positions at Multitest and KATHREIN-Werke KG, where responsibilities included product management and project management in manufacturing engineering. Educational qualifications include a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Produktionstechnik from Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences.
