Akshay Mahajan

Akshay Mahajan is a data science professional with experience across various roles and companies. Currently employed at Spindl since February 2023, Akshay specializes in data science initiatives using a technology stack that includes Go, Python, Typescript, and React. Previously, important positions include Product & Partnerships Lead at Series, and Engineering Product Manager at Apple, where Akshay focused on privacy-preserving machine learning, experimentation, and search infrastructure. Akshay also played a significant role at Branch as an Analytics Lead, contributing to federated analytics and a near-real-time data platform. Early career experiences include software engineering at Learning Equality, data analytics at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, and various internships related to private equity and mergers & acquisitions. Akshay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human-Computer Interaction with a Minor in Computer Science from UC San Diego.
