Shashank Agrawal

Shashank Agrawal is currently a Blockchain Security Research Engineering Manager at Coinbase, with additional expertise as an Advisor for IOSG Ventures since September 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Technologist in Security & Cryptography at Western Digital, where research on security and cryptography challenges was conducted. Shashank served as a Senior Staff Research Scientist and Team Lead at Visa, focusing on multi-party computation, cryptographic proofs, and authentication methods. Earlier positions include postdoctoral research at The University of Texas at Austin, research internships at Microsoft, and a role as a Web Developer during Google Summer of Code. Shashank holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has obtained both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree from the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad, totaling extensive knowledge in cryptography and security.
