Shareef Abdou

Shareef Abdou has a wide range of work experience. Shareef is currently serving as the Director and Co-founder of Coindex Capital, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to this, Shareef worked as a Proprietary Fund Manager in a self-employed capacity starting from October 2008. Before that, they held the position of SVP of Credit Risk Management at Bank of America from July 2006 to December 2017.

Shareef Abdou has a strong education background in business and economics. Shareef completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, specializing in finance, strategy, and operations. This program took place from 1998 to 2000. Prior to their MBA, Shareef Abdou earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from UCLA between 1991 and 1994. Shareef'sundergraduate studies focused on international economics and Western European studies.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Shareef Abdou has obtained a certification in series 3 from the National Futures Association in April 2021. This certification demonstrates their knowledge and expertise in futures and commodities trading.
