Alvin Lim

Alvin Lim has a diverse background in the finance and compliance industry. Alvin currently works at Coinhako as the Deputy Head of Compliance & Deputy MLRO since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Zipmex as a Financial Crime Compliance Senior Manager from March 2022 to January 2023, and as an APAC Risk & KYC Governance Manager from March 2021 to March 2022. Alvin also has experience at YouTrip as a Compliance - KYC Team Lead from July 2019 to December 2020.

Before joining YouTrip, Alvin worked at Citi as an Assistant Manager - Associate KYC Analyst from May 2017 to June 2019. Alvin also has experience at Crédit Agricole CIB as a KYC Analyst from November 2016 to April 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Deloitte as a Fatca Analyst from February 2016 to November 2016.

Alvin began their career at Westpac Institutional Bank as a KYC Analyst - Middle Office from May 2015 to February 2016. Alvin then moved on to United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) as an Associate Officer from August 2014 to May 2015.

Alvin'sfirst job was at Citi as a Project Officer from August 2013 to August 2014. Overall, Alvin has gained extensive experience in compliance, risk management, and KYC analysis throughout their career.

Alvin Lim's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Arts in Business with Finance Management from Northumbria University from 2015 to 2017. Before that, they had obtained a Diploma in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Nanyang Polytechnic, which they completed from 2008 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Alvin Lim has also obtained several certifications. Alvin completed the French Language Beginner 1 course at Agape School in March 2017. Furthermore, they have certifications in "Project a Positive and Professional Image" and "Provide Go-the-Extra-Mile Service" from the Singapore Workforce Development Agency, which they obtained in September 2014.
