Marissa Maldonado

Marissa Maldonado joined Coker Group in 2010 as a consultant specializing in EHR implementations and maintenance, IT Ecosystem design and support, and IT Account Management. Marissa focuses on identifying key resources in EHR migrations and implementations, specialty practice and surgery center expansion, WAN implementations, desktop and network hardware upgrades, and managing ongoing IT support. Marissa’s area of focus lies within the following practice specialties: Spine, Orthopedic, Orthopedic Surgery Centers, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, and Urology.

Marissa also manages the Coker Group’s internal IT support. She has designed and implemented the Coker Group internal Help Desk which also allows her to manage ongoing staff satisfaction and customer service.

Passionate in community outreach, Marissa is a certified leader and fundraising chair for Atlanta Inner City Outings who takes underprivileged youth on outdoor excursions. She is also on the board for CHAMPS Atlanta, an annual men’s health care summit in Atlanta. For CHAMPS, she is the project manager for the software development, the IT infrastructure & implementation, volunteer team, and onsite support for the day of the event.
