Angela McKane

Angela McKane is a founding partner at Energy Mix Ventures since July 2024, bringing extensive experience in business development and advisory roles, particularly for early-stage UK startups focused on innovation in EV charging, materials science, circularity, and renewable energy. Prior to this, Angela was a vice president at bp from 2008 to 2023, where responsibilities included leading a global team in technology insights related to sustainability and energy transition investments. Additional experience includes data privacy compliance at Transport for London and research information management at the University of Glasgow. Angela holds an MA (Hons) in Politics, Philosophy, and Sociology from the University of Glasgow and completed the VC Lab Cohort 13 in May 2024.
