Paul Davies

Paul Davies is an experienced academic and theatre professional currently serving as the Student Engagement Manager at Colchester Institute since September 2010, where responsibilities include supporting students in becoming skilled plumbers and fostering soft skills development. With a rich background in performing arts, Paul has lectured part-time in various theatre subjects across institutions, including University of Derby and University Campus Suffolk, while also leading courses in Performing Arts. Freelance work as a theatre maker, playwright, director, and actor began in 1985 and continues to the present day, with notable works such as "Play Something" and "Uninhabited." Educational credentials include a PhD in AIDS and theatre from the University of East Anglia, an MA in Drama from the University of Essex, and a BA (Hons) in Humanities from the University of South Wales.
