Detlef Schrempf has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Detlef began their career as a professional basketball player in the NBA, playing for the Seattle SuperSonics and later joining the Portland Trail Blazers. During their time in the NBA, they also represented the adidas brand as a Global Grassroots ambassador.
After retiring from basketball, Schrempf became a General Partner at Athlon Ventures and also worked as a Professional for the Portland Trail Blazers. In 1994, they founded the Detlef Schrempf Foundation, where they served as the President for 25 years, supporting organizations focused on helping children and families in the Northwest.
In 2007, Schrempf transitioned to the finance industry, joining Coldstream Wealth Management as the Director of Business Development. Detlef held this role until the present.
Detlef Schrempf attended Centralia High School from 1980 to 1981. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Washington and studied International Business from 1981 to 1985.
