Charles Peabody

Charles Peabody serves as the Technology Leader at Cole Engineering Services, Inc. (CESI), a By Light Company, since July 2022. Prior to this role, Charles held the position of Lead Engineer for the Supporting Arms Virtual Trainer (SAVT) at Phoenix Defense, LLC. from January 2021 to July 2022. Charles has extensive experience in software engineering, including overseeing the design, development, maintenance, and deployment of advanced military training and simulation products at Riptide Software, Inc. as Lead Software Engineer from April 2017 to January 2021, and working as a Software Engineer on the F-35 Pilot Training Simulator at Lockheed Martin from January 2016 to April 2017. Earlier in the career, Charles contributed to geospatial information processing services at Leidos and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Rollins College, following an Associate's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Community College of Allegheny County. Additionally, Charles served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from July 2004 to August 2012.
