Sergei Burkov

Sergei Burkov is an experienced entrepreneur and executive. Sergei began their career in 1993 as a Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin, and then co-founded Bilbo Innovations, Inc., where they served as President. In 1996, they co-founded Invincible Data Systems, Inc. and served as CEO until 2000 when it was acquired by VASCO Data Security, where they then served as Strategic Partnerships Director. In 2001, they founded Dulance, Inc. and served as CEO until 2006 when they joined Google as GM of Long Tail Product Search (special project). Sergei then served as Head of Russia Initiative and Head of Moscow R&D Center until 2011 when they became a Mentor at 500 Startups. From 2013 to 2020, they served as Founder and CEO of Alterra.ai, and then in 2020 they co-founded and became CEO of Colibri.ai.

Sergei Burkov holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT).
