Jim Fox brings a broad set of business skills and experience to the Colibri Group leveraging his years of experience in high-growth, private equity-backed, and technology-driven industries. Jim combines a powerful mix of strategic planning, financial analysis, and leadership to meet the Company’s strategic, operational and financial goals.
Jim’s expertise in leadership and finance arose from his experience at TierPoint, a data center company founded by Cequel III and backed by Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, TA Associates, and Redbird Capital where he served as SVP of Finance & Chief Accounting Officer. He was also SVP and Chief Accounting Office at Suddenlink Communication, a cable provider, also founded by Cequel III, and backed by BC Partners and Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board. He also served as Chief Financial Officer and SVP of Business Operations at Mobile Amor Inc., a venture-backed data encryption company that sold to TrendM Micro.
Jim earned his CPA after graduating from the University of Tulsa with a BSBA with majors in Accounting and Finance. He has continued his development through Executive education programs in leadership and management development at Harvard Business School and the University of Michigan. He was awarded the 40 Under 40 Award by St. Louis Business Journal in 2004. Mr. Fox has served on the board of multiple local St. Louis organizations including Arch Grants, Community School, and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
