Matt Violet

Matt Violet has a diverse work experience that includes roles in software engineering and communications. Matt is currently employed at Collective Health as a Software Engineer, starting in February 2021. Prior to that, they worked on various personal projects in 2020 as a Full Stack Software Engineer. These projects involved developing a diabetes management application, optimizing a rental housing application, and building an e-commerce application and an image gallery module.

Before focusing on software engineering, Matt worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Seasoned from August 2019 to January 2020. Matt also has experience in the education sector, having worked as a Student Services Associate at Reach Institute for School Leadership from July 2018 to February 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Communications Director at Starr King School for the Ministry from August 2015 to May 2018.

Matt Violet attended the University of California, Davis from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication. In 2019, they briefly enrolled in Hack Reactor to study Computer Software Engineering.
