Chaniel Williams

Chaniel Williams, Magic Zone’s K-2 Program Lead, was born and raised in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood by her maternal grandmother. A product of the San Francisco Unified School District, Chaniel went on to attend San Jose State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies, with a minor in Psychology. Chaniel has held her current position since 2012, and has been very involved in all aspects of the program, serving previously as Administrative Assistant. Chaniel, once a participant of the program herself, feels that it is her responsibility to be the person to make the youth see their future in a brighter way; she knows how important it was to have other people besides her family wanting the best for her, and that it made her push herself harder to achieve all her goals.
