Miguel Rivero

Miguel Rivero has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2002. Miguel began their career as a Redactor Creativo at Camus Publicidad in 2002. Miguel then worked as an Asistente de Marketing at Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano in 2004 and Clínica San Borja in 2003. In 2008, they joined Grey Group as a Flash Developer, where they produced, adapted and maintained Flash pieces for SEAT International, Spain and Portugal websites, as well as minisites and banners for related campaigns. Miguel also programmed Actionscript 3, edited video and published online content. In 2011, they worked as a Flash Developer at Evil Love and in 2012 at Studio+44. From 2014 to 2020, they were a Frontend Developer at CHH - Creative HotHouse Technologies Pte. Ltd., where they were in charge of the development, deployment and maintenance of several responsive and usable web projects. Miguel has been a Senior Frontend Developer at SQLI since 2020 and currently works as a Senior Frontend Developer at Collective Minds Radiology.

Miguel Rivero began their educational career in 1980, completing primary and secondary studies at C.E.P. San Antonio De Padua. In 1992, they began their studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, where they completed Estudios Generales in Letras in 1995. Miguel then attended Universidad de Lima, graduating with a Licenciado en Ciencias de la Comunicación in 1999 with a focus on publicidad, marketing, and periodismo. In 2000, they returned to Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú to complete a Diploma de Estudios Filosóficos in filosofía. Finally, in 2004, they completed a Master de Artes Digitales at Pompeu Fabra, focusing on programación actionscript, vídeo, and sonido. In addition, they have earned two certifications, "shaping-up-with-angular-js" from Code School in 2015, and "Staying Sharp With AngularJS" from Code School.
