Emilio Acevedo

Emilio Acevedo currently serves as the Program Coordinator for First-Year Experience at The University of Texas at San Antonio, a position held since September 2024. Prior to this role, Emilio was an AmeriCorps Senior Leader at Breakthrough Central Texas from September 2023 to September 2024. Emilio also has extensive experience with College Forward, where roles included Lead Success Coach and Success Coach, providing guidance to students pursuing post-secondary degrees. Earlier in the career, Emilio served as a Summer Bridge Member, assisting recent high school graduates with their transition to college, and began with short-term positions in food service at MOD Pizza and Ramos Restaurant and Sports Bar. Emilio holds a Bachelor of Arts in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
