Dan Davila

Dan Davila is an experienced operations and maintenance professional with a strong background in power and steam distribution. Currently serving as the Director of Central Utility Plant at The College of New Jersey since March 2022, Dan previously held various roles including Operations Supervisor at Covanta Energy, Operations Manager at Wheelabrator Technologies, and Maintenance and Operations Supervisor at Covanta Energy Limited. Dan's extensive experience spans over three decades in the energy sector, beginning as a Power Plant Lead Operator at Covanta Energy from 1989 to 2001, with a focus on safe and efficient operations. Dan's educational foundation includes a Technical Degree in Nuclear/Nuclear Power Technology from the US Navy Nuclear Engineer program, completed between 1983 and 1989.
