Gin de Mesa Laranas

Gin De Mesa Laranas is an experienced writer and programming strategist with a diverse background in television and film. Currently serving as a Writer and TV and Film Guide at Collider since July 2022, Laranas has previously contributed to the Philippine Government as the Creator for DepEd TV's programming from June 2020 to October 2021. Notably, Laranas held roles at Viva Communications, Inc. as a Global Content Strategist, producing documentaries for a global audience, and as a Screenwriter for the film Aurora on Netflix. With a solid foundation in TV programming, Laranas has also worked as a Programming Strategist at MediaQuest, a Contributing Op-Ed Writer for The New York Times, and held various leadership roles in news and entertainment programming at ABSCBN Broadcasting Corporation.
