Ben Liao

Ben Liao currently serves as the Global Head of Technology Strategy & Innovation at Colliers, a leading global real estate services firm, since June 2021. Liao is also a member of the Leadership Board at CREtech, contributing to the advancement of technology in the commercial real estate sector. Prior experience includes roles as Interim Colliers Global Innovation Lead and Managing Director at Techstars, where Liao facilitated support for entrepreneurs. From 2015 to 2018, Liao was part of the leadership team at Ritual, focusing on business development and user acquisition. Additionally, Liao held the position of Investment Manager at the Investment Accelerator Fund, an active early-stage venture capital fund in Canada. Education includes an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, specializing in Commerce and Finance with a major in Economics.
