Melissa Irby

Melissa Irby is the current Chief Financial Officer at Collin College. Melissa previously served as the CFO for the ABILENE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT from August 2001 to July 2020.

Melissa Irby holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from McMurry University and a Masters of Accountancy from Abilene Christian University. Melissa is also a Certified Public Accountant, having received their certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.

They are on a team with Steve Matthews - SVP, External Relations, Monica Velazquez - General Counsel, and David Stephens - Chief Innovation Officer. Melissa Irby reports to H. Neil Matkin, District President.
