Allison Barber

Allison Barber is a Misdemeanor Prosecutor at the Collin County Criminal District Attorney's Office, serving as the chief misdemeanor prosecutor since November 2023. Prior to this role, Allison held a post-bar position at the Dallas County District Attorney's Office and completed a judicial externship for Judge Vik Deivanayagam at the McLennan County Court at Law. Earlier experience includes work as a summer associate at the Crowder Law Firm, judicial intern for Justice Dennise Garcia at the Fifth District Court of Appeals of Texas, and an intern at the Federal Public Defender’s Office - NDTX. Allison began their legal career with an internship at the Brazos County District Attorney's Office and has experience in youth mentorship from roles at Sky Ranch and AuPairWorld. Education includes a Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with minors in Philosophy and Business from Texas A&M University.
