Richard Spilsbury

Richard Spilsbury has over 25 years of experience in corporate development advisory and corporate finance. Richard began their career in 2015 as Corporate Development Director for Play Sports Group, an international high growth group focussed on sports digital video and marketing. Richard also served as Insight Director for SHIFT Active Media Ltd, where they founded and led the Insight and Business Intelligence team. In 2019, they founded Link Stone Advisory, a corporate development advisory and corporate finance practice focussed on creative and tech categories. In 2020, they took on the role of Senior Adviser, Corporate Finance for Collingwood Advisory Ltd. Richard has also held Non Executive Director positions at Fourth Floor (2022) and Publisher Discovery (2021). Additionally, they currently serve as Astia Adviser (2023), Board Adviser for Be the Business (2021) and West of England Combined Authority (2021), and Adviser & Mentor for SETsquared Partnership (2021).

Richard Spilsbury's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Modern History from the University of Oxford, obtained between 1987 and 1990. Richard also attended Prior Park College. Additionally, Richard holds certifications as an Adviser from Transpire - Global Director Network, obtained in January 2021; a Fellow from The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce), obtained in October 2020; an FCA from ICAEW, obtained in August 1992; and an MMRS from Market Research Society (MRS).
