Cas Malo is the Group Strategy Director at COLLINS. Cas was previously the Head of Strategy at Stink Studios from August 2017 to May 2022. In this role, they applied strategy in, on, and around the business across the global teams. This meant they were hands-on in projects, often running research and building strategies for clients to better connect with their consumers. It also meant they were utilizing their experience and expertise to nurture the culture, efficiently scale the infrastructure, and decrease friction through change. And the “around” bit applied to growing the business, working directly with the business development teams to optimize the in & outbound strategies and position the studio competitively in the market.
Cas has also worked as a Brand Director at OTR: On the Rocks Premium Cocktails from October 2016 to June 2017.
Some of Cas’s notable accomplishments include launching an 8 year initiative to bring the most inclusive Olympics ever to Los Angeles, helping Nike frame their digital strategy for a younger, braver, and more cynical audience, and positioning WeTransfer to be Bad At Business.
Cas Malo has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic & Interactive Communications from Ringling College of Art and Design.
They are on a team with Maggie Beckham - Senior Business Director, Brian Collins - Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer, and Stalyn Almanzar - VP, Strategy. Their manager is Leland Maschemeyer, Co-Founder & CEO.
