Anthony Conyers III

Anthony Conyers III has over 20 years of work experience in the field of IT. Anthony has held various roles in different companies, starting as a Technical Support Professional at Gateway in 1998. Anthony then became a Technical Trainer, teaching new employees about products and services. In 2001, they worked as a Web Server Administrator at Web Site Source. From 2003 to 2015, they worked at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, starting as a Systems Support Specialist and gradually progressing to the role of Principal Software Engineer. Anthony was responsible for designing and developing software applications on both Microsoft .NET and IBM Websphere platforms. In 2015, they became the Manager of Application and Database Development, and later the Manager of Development and Operations. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Senior Manager of Development and Operations, leading a team in transitioning the Foundation to a devops model. Their most recent role at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is Director of IT Service Delivery, which they started in March 2019.

Anthony Conyers III attended Virginia Tech from 1993 to 1997, where they studied Computer Science.
