Billie J. Cook, SHRM-CP has over 15 years of experience in human resources management. Billie J. began their career at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. in 2008, where they supported and led the human resources function for multiple business sectors. Billie J. was known for delivering real-world business solutions and effectively recruiting, growing, and developing engaged employees. In 2021, they joined Valkyrie Enterprises as the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, where they successfully led and executed all human resources and talent acquisition efforts. Billie J. increased company and employee productivity through process excellence and strengthened relationships with operational business units. Currently, they serve as the Director of Human Resources at Colonna's Shipyard.

Billie J. Cook, SHRM-CP has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Human Resources Management from Saint Leo University. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Thomas Nelson Community College. In addition to their education, Billie obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in 2021.
