Janet Brugger

Janet Brugger has a diverse work experience that includes roles such as Lead Business Navigator at Colorado Enterprise Fund, Block Instructor at Colorado College, Adjunct Instructor at Pikes Peak State College, and Principal Owner of JBrugger Consulting, Inc. Janet also served as the Past President of the Colorado Springs Black Chamber of Commerce and as the Director of Grants Development at Peak Vista Community Health Centers. Additionally, they worked as the Director of Student Affairs/Academic Resources at the University of the Rockies and as the National Chair SAPAA KC at NASPA-National Association for Student Affairs Professionals. Furthermore, they were recognized by Profiles in Diversity Journal for their role as the Director of Student Affairs. Janet Brugger is a member of the Leadership Pikes Peak Class of 2011.

Janet Brugger holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the same institution, completing their studies from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their academic achievements, Janet has obtained several certifications, including Educator - Type 5 (Career and Technical) from the State of Colorado in 2017, Small and Minority Business Consultant from the Pikes Peak Small Business Development Center in 2017, and Trainer - Bridges Out of Poverty from Bridges Out of Poverty in 2016.
