Matthew D. Hermsen

Matthew D. Hermsen is an experienced professional with a diverse background in various roles spanning multiple industries. Currently serving as a Parts Assistant in the collision department at McDonald Automotive since June 2023, Matthew has also been a High School Football Official for the Colorado High School Activities Association since July 2018. Matthew's extensive experience with South Suburban Parks and Recreation includes managing programs and serving in various positions such as Aquatics Manager and Swim Instructor since November 1997. Previous roles include Parts Coordinator at Gerber Collision & Glass, Assistant Swim Coach and Meet Manager at Arapahoe High School, Engineering Field Technician at CTL Thompson, Facilities Operations Support at CH2M HILL, Petrophysicist 1 at Schlumberger, and Teaching Assistant at the Colorado School of Mines. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from the Colorado School of Mines and attended Arapahoe Community College for studies in Associate of Science.
