Matt Baca

Matt Baca currently serves as the Executive Director at Colorado Legal Services, a position held since March 2023. Prior to this role, Baca worked for the Colorado Attorney General's Office, advancing from Director of the Division of Community Engagement to Director of the Office of Community Engagement from March 2019 to March 2023. Baca's legal career began as a Staff Attorney in the Migrant Farm Worker Division at Colorado Legal Services from August 2016 to March 2019 and included a prior role as an Associate Attorney at Earthjustice from January 2013 to July 2016. Legal experience also includes a law clerkship at the U.S. District Court from December 2011 to December 2012. Baca holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from New York University School of Law and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Harvard Kennedy School, along with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish from the University of Colorado Boulder.
