Brian Barker

Brian Barker is the Director of Marketing & Media Relations at Colorado Mountain College. Brian has previous experience as the Marketing Director at Western Colorado University and the Adaptive Sports Center at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Brian is a content marketing leader and has experience in managing staff, interns, and external vendors who create marketing content including print publications, website design and management, and events.

Brian Barker has a BS in Broadcast Journalism, Public Relations from the University of Colorado Boulder. Brian also has an Advanced Public Information Officer certification from the Emergency Management Institute and a Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication certification from the Defense Information School. Brian is also certified by the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) in AIARE Level 1 Avalanche and by FEMA in FEMA Advanced Public Information Officer. Brian is also certified by the Colorado Department of Human Services in EMT Basic and by the National Ski Patrol in Outdoor Emergency Care.
