Allison Hahn has over seven years of work experience in various roles. In 2013, they began as a Resource Management Intern with the National Park Service, where they eradicated over 75 acres of invasive Phragmites plants and mapped the location of plant species using Trimble TerraSync GIS. In 2014, they became a Program Assistant at Delaware State Park, where they organized daily camp activities, led field trip programs, and coordinated with state law enforcement to facilitate outdoor music concerts. In 2015, they held two roles: an Intern at the Congressional Fire Services Institute, where they assisted in the planning of CFSI's 28th Annual National Fire and Emergency Services Dinner and Symposium, and a Biological Science Technician (Aquatics) with the U.S. Forest Service, where they conducted government fisheries research. Allison also held a role as an Assistant Event Coordinator at Havard Events & Design. In 2016, they were a STEAM Specialist/Special Education Instructional Assistant at Fairfax County Public Schools and a Fisheries Biologist Intern (AmeriCorps) with the U.S. Forest Service. In 2017, they became a Program Assistant at the Congressional Fire Services Institute and, in 2020, they began as an Operations Manager at Colorado SEO Pros, where they oversee the organizational activities of a startup digital marketing agency.
Allison Hahn earned a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science Major & Marine Science Minor from the University of Delaware from 2011 to 2015. In October 2021, they obtained the Inland Ocean Ambassador Certification from the Inland Ocean Coalition. In June 2016, they obtained certifications in Defensive Driving from AAA/U.S. Forest Service, Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens from American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, and Snorkel Certification from U.S. Forest Service.
