Monty Childs

Monty Childs possesses extensive experience in the entertainment and engineering sectors, currently serving as the Engineering Electronics Supervisor at The Broadmoor since August 2018, where responsibilities include maintaining and installing electronic systems throughout the hotel complex. In addition, Monty has been with The Broadmoor World Arena since January 2005 as a Production/Electrician, facilitating power distribution for various productions. As the owner of RockStar Productions CO for over 25 years, Monty has excelled in multiple roles including Event DJ, Lighting Designer, and Technical Director. Previous positions include Crew Chief at Colorado Springs City Auditorium, Lighting Designer and Technical Director at Rawkus, and Lighting Director/Master Electrician at Pikes Peak Center For The Performing Arts. Monty also has a background in radio broadcasting with various roles at KKFM, KILO, and KRDO. Monty has a degree in Associate's Of Applied Science in Commercial Photography from Colorado Mountain College.
