Moshe Shamay has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Moshe began their career at Rafael in 1981, where they worked on the development and fabrication of infrared detectors. Moshe also conducted project integration and served as a project manager. From 1990 to 1992, they worked at WSI USA in memory device research and development, focusing on process development and characterization of new array architecture. Moshe then joined Technion IIT as a process engineer from 1994 to 1997. At Tower Semiconductor LTD, they worked on flash memory device engineering from 1997 to 2001. Moshe then moved to Lenslet as a device and process R&D engineer, where they developed 2D Multiple Quantum Well (MQW) Spatial Light Modulators (SLM) for optical processors. From 2005 to 2016, they served as a device physicist on the high power diode laser section at SCD. Most recently, they worked at ColorChip as a reliability manager and is currently employed at MYD Technology as a micro fabrication process & characterization consulting specialist.
Moshe Shamay earned their Bachelor's Degree in Physics&Mathematics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which they attended from 1974 to 1977. Moshe then pursued a Master's Degree in Applied Physics at the same university from 1977 to 1980. Prior to their university education, Moshe completed their high school education at Hasharon Ramat Hasharon from 1967 to 1971.
