Alexey Tikhonov

Alexey Tikhonov has been working in the technology industry since 1998. Alexey began their career as a web designer at Arcadia in 1998, then moved to E-spaces as a web UI department head in 2000. In 2002, they were a user interface designer at TogetherSoft, and a freelance web developer from 2003. In 2003 they also began working as a photographer for Contract. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a photographer for Afisha Industries. Since 2010, they have been employed at ROSPHOTO as a digital preservation specialist, team leader, and IT projects director, where they are responsible for setting up and streamlining digital archival projects, developing and maintaining websites, specialised scientific databases, intranet, museum archival system, and DAM solutions. In 2021, they became the Chief Developer at Colorhythm.

Alexey Tikhonov obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Vyshaya Religiozno-Philosofskaya Shkola between 1994 and 1998. Prior to that, they were an engineer at Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" between 1992 and 1995.
