Monica Hernandez

Monica Hernandez is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher at Colton Joint Unified School District since 2021. Previously, Monica worked as a Resident Substitute Teacher and Instructional Aide at SBCUSD from February 2015 to July 2020, and as a Youth Leader at the YMCA of the East Valley from March 2010 to May 2016, where responsibilities included managing groups of over 20 students and engaging them in health and safety education. Monica also served as a Teacher Assistant at SOMERSET EDUCATION SERVICES LIMITED from August 2014 to January 2016, providing support to students with diverse needs and assisting in the development and implementation of individualized education plans. Monica holds a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Redlands (2018-2020) and a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies/Human Development from California State University-San Bernardino (2007-2014).
