Thomas Ko

Thomas Ko has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Thomas is currently working at Columbia Bank New Jersey as the SVP and General Counsel. Prior to this, they were a Partner at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP from 2018 to 2021. Thomas also served as a Partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough from 2017 to 2018. Before that, they worked as Counsel at Reed Smith LLP from 2015 to 2017. Thomas has also held positions at MUFG and CIBC as an Assistant General Counsel and Director, Regulatory, and as an Executive Director and Senior Counsel, respectively. Thomas began their career as an Associate at Shaw Pittman Potts Trowbridge in 2002 and then moved on to work as an Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP from 1998 to 2002.

Thomas Ko completed their Bachelor of Science in Course 7 (undisclosed field of study) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1995. Thomas then pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Indiana University Bloomington from 1995 to 1998.
