David Knuth

David Knuth is an experienced audio engineering professional and business manager, currently serving as the Director of Audio Engineering and Operations at Columbia College Chicago since March 2013. Knuth has a strong background in audio production, having founded and operated Barefoot Studio since 2003, where a custom-designed recording studio utilizes industry-standard Pro Tools and various audio interfaces. Previous roles include Technician at Musician’s Custom Electronics, Studio Manager for an international recording artist, and General Manager of a private recording studio. Additionally, Knuth has experience as President of Knuth’s Country Market and Managing Director at Prairie Point Development, overseeing complex projects and operations. Knuth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology with a focus on Digital Electronics from Eastern Illinois University.
