Christian Boatsman

Christian Boatsman joined Columbia Helicopters in 2010 as a copilot on the BV 107 and 234. He’s flown for Columbia Helicopters in the U.S., Canada, Papua New Guinea (PNG) and Afghanistan.

With a Masters degree in Cinema/Television and two decades of experience in the film and computer industries, Christian transitioned into the aviation world in 2006. His technical background led him to develop an iPad Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) program for the company, write the manuals for Columbia Helicopters’ Air Operator Certificate in PNG, and develop and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) for the Flight Operations Department.
