Jayden McDonald

Jayden McDonald is an undergraduate at Columbia University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry, expected to graduate in May 2025. Current positions include serving as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Olive Lab and Steckelberg Lab, both at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and as a Grant Writer and Fundraising Committee Member for GlobeMed. Additionally, Jayden is involved in the Columbia Space Initiative, participating in the Space Microbiology Mission, and holds a Summer Enhancement Fellowship at Columbia College from May 2023 to August 2024. Previous experience includes serving on the executive board and as a general body member for Encode Justice and working as a Mathematics Tutor for National Mu Alpha Theta, along with a Peer Mentor role at Calvert County Public Schools. Jayden holds a high school diploma from Huntingtown High School and also completed dual enrollment in Mathematics at the College of Southern Maryland.
