Aurelia T. serves as the Senior Class President of the Barnard College Student Government Association, where responsibilities include planning events for the Senior Class and collaborating with various offices. Previously, Aurelia held the position of Vice President for Equity, organizing significant events like the Gender-Affirming Chest Binder Drive and advocating for the consistent implementation of name changes on campus. In addition to leadership roles in student government, Aurelia is President of Skip Stop, advocating for commuter students and organizing community-focused events. Experience also includes mentoring youth at South Asian Youth Action, editing for the Columbia Undergraduate Law Review, and working as a board member and outreach coordinator for Lift Up Barnard. Internship roles include positions at the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and the Law Offices of Nicolas Caraquel, PLLC, where research and leadership were key functions. Aurelia is pursuing a major in History and a minor in Urban Teaching Track at Barnard College, alongside studies at Columbia University, building a foundation for a career in education and community engagement.
