Jim Immitt

Jim Immitt possesses extensive experience in both geology and finance, demonstrating a robust career in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Wellsite Geologist at Columbine Corporation, Jim focuses on the geological analysis of cuttings samples and the creation of well logs. As Vice President of Finance and of Geology and Geophysics at Joseph Exploration, LLC, Jim has played a key role in developing business plans for attracting investment in oil and gas exploration. Previous positions include Exploration Geologist for ENI Petroleum US LLC, where Jim utilized advanced seismic data interpretation techniques, and roles at various companies including AMD and Freeport McMoran, which blend financial management and geosciences expertise. Jim holds an MBA in finance from Texas McCombs School of Business, along with an M.A. in Geology from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Geology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
