Alex Loustau

Alex Loustau has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Alex started their career as a Senior Application Solution Specialist at Micros Systems in 1998. From 2002 to 2006, they worked as the Manager of POS Development at IHOP, where they played a key role in designing and implementing technology strategies.

In 2006, Alex joined SSP America as the Director of IT, Field Services, where they led enterprise-wide IT support initiatives and implemented technology solutions for a multi-billion dollar restaurant company. Alex held this position until 2014 when they transitioned to FOCUS Brands as the Director of Retail Technology for Moe's Southwest Grill. Here, they established the infrastructure for key enterprise applications and optimized IT operations for over 3,000 locations.

In 2016, Alex became the Sr. Manager, Center Technology Delivery at Westfield, where they oversaw the delivery of multiple technologies for shopping center projects. Alex analyzed project information and ensured that client and internal expectations were met.

From 2017 to 2020, Alex worked at SSP America again, this time as an IT Implementation Project Manager. Alex accomplished IT staff results, maintained staff, and defined and supported strategic plans for implementing information technologies.

In 2019, Alex joined Shake Shack as the Sr Manager Store Systems, responsible for managing store systems and operations.

In 2020, Alex took on the role of a Covid-19 expert at Covid-19 International, providing support and expertise during the pandemic.

Most recently, Alex has been working at Columbine Health Systems since 2021. Alex started as an IT Manager and quickly moved up to become the Director of Information Technology.

Alex Loustau attended the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General studies. In 1996, they enrolled at Cypress College and completed their studies in 1998, obtaining a degree in Culinary. Their field of study at Cypress College was Hospitality Administration/Management.
