Christie Lagowski

Christie Lagowski is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public relations, media, and internal communications. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Public Relations, Media, and Internal Communications at Columbus McKinnon since August 2013, Christie leads a team of six in managing creative services for the company's North American operations and oversees product launch activities. Previous roles at Columbus McKinnon include Communications Manager and Senior Communications Specialist, where Christie was instrumental in developing a global website and creating communications strategies for numerous product launches. Prior to Columbus McKinnon, Christie worked at Brady Corporation as a Product Merchandiser, at Corning Incorporated as a Communications Specialist and Communications Coordinator, and gained experience as a Copywriting Intern at Fisher-Price. Christie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism/Mass Communication from St. Bonaventure University and a Master’s degree in Communication from Ithaca College.
