Michael Shear

Michael Shear is an experienced professional in project and product management within the industrial sector. Currently serving as the Director of Project Management at Columbus McKinnon since September 2021, Michael leads a global team in developing innovative industrial motion solutions. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Project Management and Senior Manager of Product Management at CIRCOR International, where Michael was responsible for strategic product line development. Earlier experiences encompass project management in new product development at Apex Tool Group and various roles in project management and engineering at Harsco Rail, Howden North America, and Kershaw Manufacturing. Michael holds an MBA from the University of South Carolina and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University.
