Dr. Betty Hill

Dr. Betty Hill currently serves as the Director of Capital Campaign for Columbus Symphony, a position held since April 2024. Previously, Dr. Hill was the Arts Supervisor/Administrator for Columbus City Schools from August 2016 to February 2024, where operational efficiency was redefined through leading a cross-functional team of over 400 educators across 110 locations. Prior to this role, from August 2014 to May 2016, Dr. Hill functioned as the Arts Coordinator, enhancing arts education by developing a dynamic curriculum and fostering community partnerships. Dr. Hill began tenure at Columbus City Schools as an Educator from August 1994 to May 2014, creating an engaging learning environment and collaborating with peers to improve curriculum. Dr. Hill holds a Master of Arts in Music Education and a Doctor of Philosophy in Music from The Ohio State University, along with a Bachelor of Music in Keyboard Performance from Capital University.
