Rex McDowell

Rex McDowell has a long and varied career in software engineering. Rex began their career in 1975 as a Programmer at ADP and then moved to Tektronix in 1977 as a Software Engineer. In 1983, they joined Metheus as a Senior Software Engineer, followed by a move to Mentor Graphics in 1988 in the same role. In 1999, they joined WebMD as a Senior Software Engineer and was eventually promoted to a somewhat Distinguished Engineer. In 2009, they moved to Via Training as a Senior Software Engineer and then to Colyar Consulting Group, Inc. in 2010 in the same role. Rex retired several years ago and now spends their time playing tennis, golf, pickleball, and softball.

Rex McDowell obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Calif State Univ at Fullerton between 1973 and 1975.
